Time for Spring Cleaning!

Cinderella Facials became of big hit!  In my previous post I told about exfoliating procedures included in Cinderella Facials.

Many of you already tried and appreciated the results. Since I have been asked the same questions by many people, I would like to include them in the FAQ, and highlight them one at a time.

  1. How often do I need to have exfoliating treatments?

Unfortunately, there is no way to determine the exact frequency of sessions, because everyone has a very unique skin, life style, hygiene habits, etc. For better understanding, I usually compare exfoliating procedures with house cleaning. How often do we clean our house?  Most people do it on a daily, weekly, monthly basis, and before special occasions. Once in a while we have professionals do it for us. Seasonal cleaning, like spring cleaning, is also a common necessary custom.

The same principle should be applied to our skin. We wash it with a cleanser daily, use scrubs weekly, and once in a while we come to see a skin care specialist to exfoliate it professionally. How often? Your skin will tell you. When it looks grey, dull, lifeless, dry, flaky, covered with black or white heads – it’s time!

If you have not had a professional cleaning for a while,

In my next letter:

  1. Can I get rid of enlarged pores permanently?
  2. What can I do to keep my pores clean?
