1 in 2 women have experienced it in their lifetime. AWAIC provides safe shelter, intervention, and prevention to women, men and children who have experienced domestic violence. AWAIC is the largest domestic violence emergency shelter in Alaska, and in the last year alone, served 681 women in shelter. Now, through the end of March, join AWAIC and our partner, Sonata Spa, in celebrating Women’s History Month, and giving back to our community.
